Aslando literally means “The Lion’s Path” (Do = Path); it represents the most powerful animal on land. Technically, it is not just a Turkish martial and defensive art requiring foot or hand skills, but an art that teaches everything necessary, including techniques different from other martial arts. Aslando is also taught to security forces and special operations units.
Aslando uses 50% kicks and 50% punches. By using logic based on intelligent thinking and eliminating everything unnecessary from the mind, Aslando has naturally become a realistic, fast, practical, and effective martial and defensive art. As a system, Aslando consists of principles, not monotonous movements. Aslando students learn not to use unnecessary force, not to stand in front of their opponent’s power, to use the force applied to them to their own advantage, to fight not only against one person but against many people at the same time, and to be fluid and relaxed. It achieves harmony between body and spirit. Techniques repeated many times become reflexes. Concepts such as accuracy, courtesy, patience, love, and respect are taught during the training process in Aslando. It develops the athlete’s intelligence and gives them the ability to act independently. It gives the human body vitality and agility. Thus, feelings of self-confidence, self-control, and concentration develop. The individual learns to behave correctly and intelligently when competing with an opponent. Aslando training is an educational method that achieves success with practical intelligence, gives strength to the spirit and normal power, and increases concentration. It develops human character, strengthens willpower and learning ability, and promotes tolerant behavior.
Aslando Group Lessons are systematic training programs that offer discipline, endurance, and technical development together. In training sessions conducted in controlled groups of 8-10 people, students learn both individual defense techniques and gain team awareness.
Group classes cover basic technical rules, physical conditioning, reflex development exercises, pair work, hand techniques, and controlled application training. During the training process, students not only learn physical techniques but also gain patience, respect, discipline, and self-control.
This program is suitable for all levels. Beginners develop basic reflexes and coordination, while advanced students work on tactical thinking and multiple attacker scenarios. Group classes also contribute significantly to social development, increased self-confidence, and mental resilience.
